No complaints here

I'm finally back!

I've been without computer for the last three and a half weeks because...sigh...my mac is not perfect. There was a horrible semi-fire involving the power cord and my bedspread. stupid fraying cord.

Anyway, as I said, no complaining because not much is going on. Life is stable. I'm breathing. Breathing hard too as I'm really trying to keep my fitness plan going. There's a treadmill here at the apartment complex so even if I'm feeling too scared of the maniacal Atlanta drivers- I can skip the gym and run/walk. It's a great set up.

Georgia has very little water and that's been scary. We're being good little conservationists. Having grown up in Phoenix, JC tells me there was almost always a drought. How depressing. I always have thought the next war will be regarding water. Knowing how little clean water exists in the world....well, I've been kept up at night thinking of this. I don't do this anymore.

I'm trying to be thoughtful about our move. Oh yes, we have made the decision. We're heading back west. I swear, I'm not dramatic. I do not enjoy drama. I try to no longer befriend those with drama. However, it seems as if the end of 2006 until present has been fraught with little fires, medium skermishes and large trials. We've been through a lot in a year, in my opinion, adding a good three years to our emotional relationship. Or, wahtever. We just miss the culture, people and definitely the weather. Well, I miss the weather though lately it's felt a lot like a fall day in PDX. Sigh.

Any suggestions as to where to live in the 'Couv? :)
