talledega nights: the ballad of ricky bobby. i know the job of any movie critic is to write a comprehensive synopsis of the movie they're talking about. well, i'm a wannabe movie critic so that doesn't apply to me. the truth is: what can i say? it's a movie STARRING will ferrel about a dim-witted nascar driver. there's no depth here people. actually, that's what i liked about the movie. i went in for a good time, a few belly laughs and i was not disappointed. john c. reilly, imho, is a phenomenal actor and he did well in the 'mindless comedy' genre also. michael duncan clark and sacha baron cohen (what's with the three names!?) were also great in their supporting roles, especially sacha (i'm so looking forward to borat)to whom the subject quote can be attributed. check it out if you can stand will ferrel in his underwear. it's not for everyone.b-.
